JEALOUSY!!!

I am so utterly jealous right now...Garrett had his first lambs!!! Can't wait to see photos! I'm looking over my girls and looking at colors and pedigrees and being a bit more picky...and looking at Peeps girls drooling...heh. Some changes will definitely be made this year :)

It's been a while...and lots has happened!

Well, it's been quite a while since I posted last, but I've got a real excuse! We've moved into our new house :) Purchased it on January 9th, and moved in a week later. We're finally pretty much settled in, with HIGH SPEED INTERNET! wooohoooo! I'm so excited! Anisa and Izzy are adjusting okay to city living, and the cats are thrilled to be around us all the time, though no one is allowed in the bedroom to keep it mostly fur free hehehe. It's not a very large house, only 900 some sq ft, but it's home. It's got it's issues too, but hopefully nothing we can't fix. Payments are only just over $350 a month, so I've still got money for other things. Yay!

I am SO excited for lambing season. We had a hard winter, very cold at times, and a few mishaps, but I'm hoping lambs will perk me up a bit :) The girls are scheduled to start in the end of April, beginning of May, and I need to get the shearer scheduled as well. River Oaks Issac is going up for sale, and FirthofFifth Likei will be lead ram this coming fall. I'm thinking a grey kat ram or maybe a heavily spotted ram for my secondary ram. We're already planning a pasture for the sheepies, and hopefully clear more pasture for the cattle out of the trees so the sheepies can have more too! Hopefully I'll get some new photos here soon. Working overnights really takes everything outta me.

Also...my latest love...DAYLILIES! I purchased some a few years ago, but am really starting to get into them, and am going to start hybridizing my own this year. Will hopefully have some nifty concoctions next year!

Anyway, that's all for now. Hopefully now with high speed internet I'll be able to get a nice website up for the sheepies as well.
