More new lambs!

Okay, last night, mom called and told me RYL Konnel and DoSiDo (she thought, but she was right) both had babies. Konnel had a grey gulmoget ram lamb, and DoSiDo had a very flashy black gulmoget ewe lamb. Very cool! But I get there today and find THESE AS WELL!

Proud momma is Minwawe Bejig :)

One boy, one girl. The boy has some odd markings...like the armpit stripe above, and some flecket marking son the other side. He's cute though!

Here's Konnel and her new son

I'm glad she finally lambed this year. We were afraid she wouldn't after not settling last year.

And here's DoSiDo's lamb.

Pink nose! :)

The gullies look to be solid-side Rayna. Do you get that sense looking into their fleece? From those of us always working toward the illusive Soay solid-side...ugh.

Wow Rayna! Those lambs are great!
Yuglet and gulmoget go well together. I love the little tri-color boy, I would call him a black yuglet flecket gulmoget. Of course I could be wrong. Any polled genes in the ram lambs?

So far not that I know of, but who knows? I know that some of my girls might carry polled, but don't know for sure yet. I know for sure two of the ram lambs from Stephen carry polled though.
